If you were travelling to Rome and thinking about visiting the San Lorenzo area, which of these review-types would be most useful?

I would choose different ones for "useful" and "trustworthy". I'm aware how reviews can be forged, so I'd go with friends reviews for trust, and probably a local one for usefulness. Data driven reviews are a bit weird, since you usually cannot back your statements up about a locality in any way. Plus, locals always know best :P

Please do tell what to vote, deriving from the above!

Actually don't worry about voting, your comment was way more helpful, thankyou!

I was wondering, for the data driven stuff... let's say you could see what locals actually did rather than what they bothered to post on review sites, would that win your trust over?

Something similar to these maps: https://www.mapbox.com/labs/twitter-gnip/locals/#10/40.7591/-73.9852

At first I wondered if there is an api for that, but then.. Ok, I'll shoot. It looks like an awesome idea, but with very poor execution. I'm aware you said "something like it", but it's important to show the negatives that could be fixed :).

Basically, the map, as is, is useless. You can only see random dots and the majority of the blue ones are most probably tweets from private homes. You can't be sure what's going on and where, too, because the map is bland, you don't have directions.

Aside from this, the idea is great. Maybe in some much cleaner and streamlined format, too. To show clusters of tweets, not every tweet from every building. Sounds great. :)

Hope this is a helpful tuning in, I'd be glad to discuss more. :D
