I'm trying to ask a question but every time I click 'ask' it comes up with an error saying 'this page is either broken or has been deleted'. What's going on and how can I fix it?

It looks like it worked OK for this question. Never heard that one before but I'll do my best to check it out and ask a question. I just asked a question Taylor and it worked just fine. You might have forgot to add one of the steps is all.

What's probably happening is there was a question worded exactly the same way, which was disapproved for some reason.

When you ask a question that word-for-word exists on the site, then you should get redirected to that page instead of creating a new question. However.. If that page existed, but is now deleted, it looks like the system still tries to redirect you, and then goes "uhoh there's nothing here".

My advice would be to try and post the question again with slightly different wording. If that still doesn't work, then please let me know!
