Hello! I think Ukraine is pretty safe these days. We visited it last year and totally loved it! I would recommend you to go on a road trip in Ukraine, so much fun! I was inKharkivlast September for a month, and I found it perfectly safe city. It is very cheap also.. Trolley cars, buses cost hardly 15 cents a trip. Uber works well though may have to wait a little long, and very cheap. I used to pay about $2 for a 10km trip. It is a clean city, restaurants serve good food, you can have a nice dinner from $10 to $20 each. I joined an indoor swimming pool for $35 a month !! Of course as in any sizable city, be careful at night in the night club areas but no more than usual.
