A conservator is a professional who works to preserve objects of cultural heritage. Basically, he or she has the task of repairing and preserving items such as artworks, handicrafts, and things that are vital for people’s understanding of their culture.

Conservation covers many different fields like cleaning, repair, packaging and many more. Conservators deal with lots of objects that like maps, photographs, books, artworks, specimen, pottery, and everything else vital to further learning of a people’s heritage, history and culture.
