So I just drank salt water to try and make myself sick, it’s been an hour and I haven’t been sick. I’m a bit concerned, any advice?

Why on earth would you do that ?

It's really dangerous to your heart if you drink large quantities of saline. It throws your whole system out of wack.

If you are not throwing up...expect a horrific belly ache followed by a flushing at your other end. Stay close to a toilet bowl and have a lot of toilet paper ready.

So. I’m a recovering bulimic and I don’t have a gag reflex because of it, I had a bad moment where I was convinced I HAD to make myself throw up, I tried this method and I’m having a seriously bad headache, thanks for the warning I had no idea. I’ll never do it again

Monitor your heart. If it feels weird...go to the E.R.
It's going to take a couple of days for your body systems to become normal again. Expect to be really bloated and you may have swelling in your feet and fingers too.
The stress on your body is so not worth doing that ever again.

Next time, chill out girl. Breath deep and meditate. Go for a head clearing walk.
