This
is not an exhaustive list, but common plumbing issues include dripping faucets,
clogged toilets, slow-draining tubs or sinks, leaky pipes, running water, and
low water pressure.

Some
of these issues can be easily fixed or prevented. For instance, slow-draining
sinks can be avoided by refraining to throw grease and solid particles in your
sink. A slow-draining tub can be prevented by removing hair and running boiling
water occasionally to stop soap scums and other debris from solidifying and
sticking to the side of your pipes. Depending on the cause, dripping faucets
can be repaired by replacing a faulty washer or O ring.

However,
some issues might be serious and require extensive work such as those involving
your pipes or water heater. It can be dangerous to attempt to fix the problem
yourself as you could cause bigger damage in the process.
