A picnic to me is an event I plan for. I make sandwiches, fried chicken, salads, deviled eggs, assorted cold drinks and desserts. On occasion I do have a spur of the moment store/restaurant picnic. I glad you asked this question, its been a while since I have had a picnic. I will put it on my to do list for my grandchildren.

It's been a long time for me too since I had a picnic with my family. And through that question I looked for new way of planning for a pic. What to say Life get us stolen almost from everything especially simple & precious activities or things..I wish I had a big family like you (more than my parents and two sisters) to have fun with.Enjoy every moment of your times with your family. It must be good when having your grandchildren around,so have a great and smashing picnic with your grandchildren:)

It's a group of people having meal together in a park , the forest,  a garden or on the beach. They bring foods and some drinking like beers etc... And have fun together.

Thank you for your answer. But I got a note regarding to a Casual meal will be sort of boring in a picnic because it's a meal that is eaten in a daily basis. But what matters behind the picnic its self is the gather round with people who we enjoy our times with and the fresh air.Thank you agaain and enjoy your every picnic:-)

Typically, a meal of sandwiches, chips, fruit, drinks prepared and placed in a basket to eat together in an outdoor setting, a park, or lake or simply outside on your lawn.
