I'm 26, and I live with my parents. I want to know how the police were able to take me to a mental health clinic against my will. I was not showering, I was not eating, and was dehydrated. I have committed no crimes. Can anyone elaborate?

Just as a matter of interest, is there anyway to prevent PTSD? I know some never get it while some only have it affect them weeks/months/years after an event I am just curious to know if it can be prevented at all?

I have a complex congenital heart syndrome, and I have been having irregular heart beats and syncope once every 1-3 months. I have seen my doctor and he doesn't think it is arrhythmias. I want to know what it could possibly be? More information below.
