Sometimes when the probe touches the cervix it can stimulate bleeding, hopefully you are just starting your period.  If you are pregnant then you could be miscarrying.  I would say that you are just starting your period, but only a doctor can tell you that.

It can not determine broken bones, at least normally.  This would be rare and only in a third world country with no x-ray machine.  They order a pelvic ultrasound if you are having abnormal periods or bleeding. So you saw the baby at 7 weeks 3 days, now you don't see a baby.  That would be concerning if you are having symptoms.  Are you bleeding?  If you are then maybe you miscarried.  Did they do a transvaginal ultrasound?  This would be more accurate than the transabdominal ultrasound.  Hopefully you had your beta … Read more

It is really only 2 weeks old, because they say when you miss your period you are already 4 weeks pregnant.  You wouldn't be able to see it with an ultrasound, maybe a microscope.  At 5 weeks 2 days it is the earliest you can see the fetus by ultrasound and that is really difficult … Read more
