Engineered wood floors are man-made (think plywood) in layers and glued/epoxied/or heat-joined. Is the table top solid wood or just plywood or wood veneered! If it's real solid wood, go to Lowes/Home Depot et.al. And purchase Homer Formby's Liquid refinisher.
