I am 51yr old Married, Mother of 3,Grandmother of 3. I moved to the Mountains of North Carolina after all the kids left home and I became divorced after 22 yrs marriage. (I survived) and 7 yrs later I remarried in Nov 2000. Mike's a very faithful and kindhearted loving man. He is there for me 24/7 literally. Mike was disabled from birth with Cerebral Palsy When I met Mike I was like I have 2 jobs and we will be just fine because of course he worried about finances. Well, in June 2001 I became ill though it worse case of the flu I'd ever gotten. I continued downhill and by 2002 I was confined to a wheelchair and needed help for even the simplest of task. I got diagnosed with Chronic Lyme's Disease in Jan of 2003 now I was disabled due to a Tick Bite. It's 2008 I am limited physically, live in Chronic Pain and Disabling Fatigue.
Despite all of this we make the best of each day and think of what I do have instead of what I do not. I see the cup half full most of the time. My son came home one day with an adopted Pet from the Humane Society. She is a Beagle & Rat Terrier Mix ( my son thinks it's his). We were not sure there was such a thing as a Rat Terrier, but then last week on CNN we saw one. It almost got eaten by a Shark in the Florida Keys (My Hometown is Key West Fl). His owner saved the Rat Terrier by punching the Shark in the face thereby he Shark gave up and let the Terrier loose. I love researching things from A-Z. I am hoping to find someone that's retired or not someone who could help me identify Gemstones. Well, that's about it for now. I will enjoy Blurtit and hope everyone else does.
