Vinegar can harm the natural stone.  I clean mine with a natural Orange cleaner (deluted with warm water.)  Steamers are nice for this too!  Make sure you keep a sealant on the floor to help from staining over time.  Travertine can be sanded & polished professionally as well to a high shine.
