The first microwave oven was 250 pounds and stood at 6 foot tall. It came around when Dr. Percy Spencer was testing a new vacuum tube called a Magnetron. He realised that the chocolate bar in his pocket had melted. Then the experiments began. Thats how it all began. The rest is history.
