You can get pokemon saphire,emerald or ruby versions,pick treeko as your starter pokemon and unlock palpark on the pokemon pearl,diamond,platinum and migrate the treeko. Go to pal park and catch treeko.get palpark open by beating the pokemon league

Use a good water-ground type pokemon like quagsire that know some ground move like earthquake is most prefered and you can beat him easily.
