It's not as much fun to go to the movies alone or restaurants. I've done it! Trust me many times it's better with another person with you. Unfortunately, many men can't accept being "friends" only with women so women think they have to give in.

I'd think if you do you may have to move while they remove it. If you are indeed getting sick from it then I'd consider moving anyway. I suppose your apartment manager would have to pay for your living expenses while you were relocated while they clean it up but maybe not. Consider all options.

You can't make your husband happy with you always. You can try to understand his needs and cater to them. The fact that you are so willing to look after his needs is important and a nice idea.
