Do you think blurtit should add a description section for questions like ask.com? So the question itself doesn't have to be so long?

It's a wonderful exercise in brevity, Dude. My first question exceeded the 250 character limit and I had to find a way to ask it that would fit in and still be meaningful. Nobody really likes reading long, convoluted questions.

They won't change at all, Help. Why should they? They've offered us a haven when we were caught in a storm and it would be ungracious -- crass! -- of us to come here expecting changes so that we don't have to learn the ropes. It's simple enough to use. I'm with you in that it's the things that are different that make it so appealing.

I don't think so at this time because as Didgeri said, some of the questions are way too long as it is and you'll find that a lot of people bypass the long ones and look for shorter questions to answer. This is a different site and we like it as it is at this time. Maybe in the future but this isn't Ask. We like it because it's different.

The "original" Blurtit had a section for extra information. You had to add that AFTER having asked the question.

It was useful, but alas often misused. I notice there are various requests for features that Blurtit once had, but which have been done away with in the past few years.

I know that Kass is going to bring back the App but I don't think he'll do anything else. I just don't like the "anonymous" stuff.

Well I think so, especially for those questions where no one understands what I'm talking about because I need to add more detail! But it is nice to read smaller questions

It would have to be small though. It used to be longer but so many people complained about the long over detailed questions, so they slimmed it down.

There ya go ! You have to remember that this has been a smaller site and I send all of these suggestions fro Kass to put to the Developer. It's different from Ask and Sodahead but it's worked fine. Now with all the new users, some improvements are going to be made.

It's a question we've been wondering about for a while on Blurtit.

The main reason we removed question details was to prevent the feeds becoming full of questions like "Can someone help me with this problem" - where you'd have to click into the question to see what the question actually was.

Also, like Didgeri Doo mentioned, sometimes it''s useful having constraints. It forces us to ask questions in a way that is simple and easy to understand.

In the odd occasion that I do need to add more details, I usually just use the answer box and people seem to work it out.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I'm conscious there is quite a lot we can improve on Blurtit, and feedback like what you just posted is really valuable so definitely keep it coming.

We're a pretty small team, but we're definitely committed to improving the site, even if progress is a little slower than we'd like sometimes :D

I can see you all care:) I adore rooster and Angela cos I've known them before this site :) I also viewed your YouTube tutorial:) I personally think people won't care about who voted for who and who interacted with who .... I just want to see the people I follow's answers :) that may just be me though .. But it's right !! Cos I said so ;)
