You nailed it in your description.  It's your self confidence at issue, because your weight is fine.  It's perfectly normal to feel a bit insecure at 14.  Your body's changes are many and they're amazing.  It takes awhile to get used to.

Exercise is healthy and feels great.  Pick something you enjoy.  Pilates is wonderful for long lean muscles, and the variety of exercises keeps it interesting.

Don't get worked up about your weight.  It will fluctuate as wildly as your hormones at this age.  Let puberty wreak it's havoc, and enjoy being a woman when you're done.

Buckle up!  Menopause is coming, and your hormones will zap you again.

Well when you strip away the fat, you will see the muscle beneath that layer. What you want to do is exercise in the very high repetition range. Upwards of 20 to 30 repetitions for each set. A set of at least 4 for each exercise, and at least 3 exercise per muscle group. This will "TONE" the muscles but not make them too much bigger.

Probably the best thing to do is LOTS of Cardio. Start walking and work your way to running or use the elliptical. Lots of sit ups, and pushups. There are bunch of exercises that can be done with very little weight to tone target areas of the body. You want tone muscle.

So this is why you want Tone Muscle. The more tone and dense you can make your muscle, the better they are at helping YOU burn calories. I work out with women who's muscle are not big, and they only show up because the their body fat percentage is very low. They are not "Sporty Girls" either.  The more dense lean muscle you have, the easier it is to lose weight. They don't have to be big, but you do need to use them. A change in your diet, and at least 1 hour to more in cardio will see you drop weight quickly.

I'm 14 and I weigh 117 lbs, and I'm around 5'1, ish. And just to be clear Xd, I'm doing this for myself, NOT for anyone else. So don't worry. Im not pressured much by anyone else to do this. A lot of people tell me I'm skinny, but I don't think so myself. I want to think so myself, and I don't have much self confidence. But yeah, anyway to lose weight without TOO harsh dietary restrictions? I'm open to doing pretty much any exercises, as long as they don't involve weights (I don't have any in my house)
