Dear Daniel Hall,
Welcome to Blurtit...your presence with a love of art is delightful.
I will nominate the hummingbird! Especially as portrayed in the abstract - or when you are more familiar with us here on Blurt I might say a hummingbird who has imbibed a few wonderful gin & tonic... And is dancing...
There is nothing more beautiful on this green Earth than the image of a cheetah at speed.
That would be Superdart.
Out there in networld, a few years ago, there was Zelkirkan, mighty sorceror.
He got involved in everything, and popped up regularly in Google searches. Alas, no more - I've sortof "retired" him.
I've experienced it a number of times before. It's not "demonic", though it is creepy. It's caused by being in a between-sleep-and-wake state, thus it's like dreaming while awake, so it can include auditory and visual hallucinations, which are often disturbing.
Paralysis naturally occurs during REM sleep (if it doesn't occur, then you sleepwalk, which … Read more
Well, if you have someone smart enough and motivated enough, sure. Hillary Clinton and the DNC know that well enough by now. Also, hacking isn't the only way into a government system. Edward Snowden is a prime example of that.
Fat, loud, disrespectful. Was in Canada in a restaurant and heard some American loudly bitching because she though the waitress had shorted her a single penny on translating American money to Canadian when paying the check. I just told my waitress, "Good meal, eh' and left.
I've visited Canada several times and found that opinions of us varied. As for myself, I always have and always will consider Canada a valued friend of the USA.

Pork, green chile sauce, cheese, refried beans, onions, and cilantro.
I did. The poor soul passed away several years ago.

Ohhhhh yeah ... A hot ninja chica Like me could totally hack the White House when Bill Clinton is the First Lady man .... Cos I said so ;) I'm seriously serious,
America has many friends, including Canada. But, as Jaimie pointed out, friends recognise each others faults.
So when you ask if "Canada" is a friend of the US the answer is a resounding "Yes" but that doesn't mean that all Canadians (or Australians, for that matter) are friendly toward all Americans or, necessarily, toward American foreign … Read more
In my case it is family. My grandmother was born there and her family settled there from Scotland back in the 1600s.
I know many countries think that we are arrogant and rude. And frankly, many Americans who travel abroad give them good reason to think so. I went to Paris years ago, and people kept telling how rude the French were. I was never treated rudely by any that I encountered. My fellow Americans in our … Read more
I live in L.A. So I think people think that I'm either dodging bullets from gang members or shopping in Beverly Hills.
Difficult target. It would take a super hacker, possibly with substantial backing.
I guess Lisbeth Salander might manage it but it's hard to imagine anybody else with enough skill.
I think anyone or entity can be hacked, if the hacker is talented enough.
