If I was an Avenger I'd probably have to wear a bowler hat and end up close and personal with Emma Peel ... And that'd get me into all kinds of trouble with Mrs Didge. I'd better stick to being who I am. :(

With x-men you kind of roll your genetic dice on what you get.  Imagine you get stuck being blue tongue.
