No. As I understand "Branding" its with a very very hot type of iron and its usually force on people. Thus "Permanently" marking and some times disfiguring the skin. Its very very painful and the pain can be excruciating.

Hickies are suppose to be harmless fun. Gone in a couple of hours or a day.
