No. All the people who want religion out of politics are hypocrites for wanting churches to pay taxes. If you want religion out of politics, don't tax churches.

All churches, mega, medium and mini should be taxed where applicable. If they run a soup kitchen then they could get a nonprofit status and not pay tax, but all the land they own and all the money made by their businesses ( think catholic church ) should be taxed.

Especially the parsonage exemption!
