What's the dumbest story you've ever been told? (I really mean story and not lie, but if you haven't been told any exceedingly stupid stories, what's the worst lie you've ever been told?)

My grandma and her "my client" stories are really dumb. One that happened recently was when someone in my family needed surgery she suddenly acted to know everything, and than she said her famous "one of my clients had that surgery..."
