Since she's just starting, I'd recommend that you start with pads first. Sometimes tampons can be uncomfortable and with a pad she'll be less likely to have problems using it. I'd go to the store and get pantiliners, maxi, mini, overnites and finally the teen size tampons. Stock her up completely.

Explain to her about different pads for different flows. Also let her know that you did buy the teen sized tampons but that unless her flow is heavier and steady not to bother. Tell … Read more
