Well first, I'd take the amount I need to pay for college expenses (after my FAFSA financial aid has been used for the first year), and then put everything else in a new savings bank account.
And coming from a poor family, if I were to somehow get this much money, I will help every other poor family I see that's in desperate need of cash to pay off expenses and whatnot.
I'd buy a plane ticket....
