Why do some questions have a capital letter at the beginning of every word? Is it a glitch or do people actually type like that?

Actually... Years before I started at Blurtit, there was an idea to automatically turn the first letter of all questions into capitals.

Why?

It's mainly because, on Google (where most of the traffic to Blurtit comes from), page headlines which appear in search results often look like this:

The question title is the page headline on a Blurtit page, so the idea was to make Blurtit pages more "eye-catching" on search results.

By the time I showed up on Blurtit, this was no longer the strategy, which is why questions don't look like that anymore.

But all the old questions from that era that underwent that "capitalization" are still on the site. Sad story :(
