It changes and shows what you edited, it doesn't appear as another question. You can edit someone else's question/answer as well, but you have to wait for their approval to your edit.
How does this editing thing work? Like when you ask a question, you make a mistake, you edit it and when you edit something does it appear changed or appear as another question?
