Wow, that's incredible. I just got back from the Goodlands of Pennsylvania.

Let's see, what's new?

  • Happy gave birth to twins.
  • Rooster had a date with Caitlyn Jenner.
  • Dragonfly was eaten by a fish.
  • Sincerity has competed on the new TV show, Pole Dancing With the Stars.
  • Didge wrote a screen play for a movie about his life.
  • Corey had his blood replaced with Mountain Dew
  • Angela tossed her hat in the ring for the GOP
  • Echooos lost her echo.
  • Tiger lost her stripes

Did you get the leashes I sent?

Yes Rathkeale, there is a one eyed bass with a story to tell. I'm glad to see you back. Would love to hear of your adventures.
You're welcome, Happy. Along with Rathkeale's leashes I hope you also found the muzzles I sent as useful. :))

Dragonfly, I think there are some other parts missing on that bass.

I'll bet you missed the Blackfoot cultural center just off #1 highway.

Korvo, are you from the Blackfoot Nation?
Thanks so much for the link. If I'm ever out there again, I will spend a day there. My friend from Sundre is a childhood friend who has been in Alberta for 40 years and has become a redneck personally and politically. I didn't know that. I asked about the local First Nations people's and she didn't know anything about them. I said that they must be Blackfoot, and she shrugged. At least I was able to spend a day at Drumheller at the Tyrell Museum.

Rath, I am not a member of the Blackfoot Nation, just another person from Calgary. But wife and I have always been interested in history/historical sites. There are several First Nations sites within a few hours drive from Calgary. Heads Sashed in Buffalo Jump is another you should visit. (It too is Blackfoot Nation} I have to admit the Blackfoot crossing is not advertised much thus missed by most.

I have an anthropology background and am very interested. We studied the Heads Smashed In site in university. I will be back, not contact my friends, rent a car and see them all. Thanks for the flyer. Now I know what to look for. Thank you so much.

Hey there! Hope you had a great holiday.

Well, in terms of news you may have missed... Europe is still in the middle of a refugee crisis, some kid was arrested for bringing a clock to school, the Pope has made a visit to the United States, and what else... My favorite soccer team, Arsenal, played and won tonight!

Here on Blurtit Rooster has hit a milestone after receiving his 10,000th "thanks" for his answers.

This is a great update. Thanks so much. And congrats on the Arsenal win. I looked up the news and that kid with the clock is getting some attention from the tech world.

Walt, we put all the nice people next to the border as protection against all sorts of evils. You must pass through the goodlands to get to the badlands where we have a lot of fun. I'm sure you've been there. It sure is Big Sky country. Drumheller has a museum called Tyrell Museum devoted to all the dinosaurs found in Alberta. I didn't get caught fondling a few bones.

Ha! That too, Otis. The Badlands of Alberta is where most of the Canadian dinosaurs have been found. Lots of Hoo Doos (look up pics) and sandstone and slate. I took pics of my first rattlesnake. It's a dry region and hard to live in.
I'm sure downtown Houston is similar is very different ways.
