If i depevelop a fear like if i watch a scary movie and fear getting possessed (ik its dumb) something in my head like i guess i tell myself if i dont touch something 4 times or delete an instsgram post and post it again it wont happen?

Sounds like you feel out of control of your life and these little things give you a since of control in your life. Maybe focus the energy on getting good grades or cleaning your room. It might help. Either way I would definitely see a doctor just in case. Good luck....

Our brains throw out many different thoughts all the time, we then choose the one which fits the situation we are in. Some of these thoughts may be inappropriate or unhelpful but most people ignore these and it barely registers with them, it happens beyond a conscious awareness. However, if you focused on them and held on to them you could suffer fear, stress and anxiety thinking that they have something to do with you personally.

There are many people that have a touch of the obsessional and it never bothers them. There are some that have OCD type behaviours but again they live with them. However, if they start to interfere with your life and functioning then you should see your doctor.

OCD which is an anxiety related disorder, is characterised by intrusive thoughts that lead a person to carry out certain repetitive rituals. If you are feeling troubled by this then see your doctor, there are also support groups for OCD.
