Has anyone ever actually been successful at getting a live representative to answer in the California's temporary disability office? Or am I wasting my time?

I did once but it was in 2008 and they probably don't bother to answer a phone. Everything else is on the Internet or by snail mail. That's about the best you're going to get now. Good luck !
