Look at it this way...if you were stranded on a desert island your sexuality might become altered and you might seek comfort in the arms of someone that you would have never considered before.

Now, exposer to a certain environment growing up, might have some play into how your neural pathways are formed. In this context we use "Environment" we could very well group both Experiences and Environmental exposures to this one label. Many people also have a theory as to "Birth Order" as well . . .
I don't know if personal exposure to changing environment in small changes can effect you . . . Quickly. I think it takes many years during developmental stages and even then, there would have to be some genetic predisposition.

When you say environment what are you referring to? If a boy or a girl lives under somebody else's shadow? There are chances of wavelength change. AC or DC gets short circuited resulting in..........
