While we all love the traditional look and feel of wood doors, they unfortunately have so many problems.

Wood doors have the following problems:

  • Not as fire resistant

  • Some wood doors are not as secure

  • Prone to termites

  • Can easily warp or swell in humid climates

  • Easily damaged in comparison to other door materials

In contrast, other door materials can be fire-resistant, damage resistant, and do not swell in high humidity and do no easily damage due to heat and other elements. Solidor doors is a manufacturer of solid timber and solid laminate doors. Some wood or timer doors may be better suited to certain climates but consulting with an experienced installer and authorized distributor will help you make the right choice.

Depends on the application. When d how along with spam you can use either. Timber burns so you can just throw the spam directly into the fire. Or you can put s steel door over the fire and use it as a frying pan to fry up the spam.
