You can give any non perscroption allergy drug to the dog. Just make sure not to overdoes it. Its better to give a part of the pill if your dog is under 60lbs.

First thing I would do is call your Vet. They give my Hound some pills called Temaril for allergies, but they said I could give him a Benadryl also. Being such a small dog, I would ask your Vet what is best.
