When Alcohol Is Consumed, The Heart Function Is Depressed And The Ability Of The Heart To Contract And Move Blood Is Reduced?
According to my child's third grade health text, when alcohol is consumed, your heart rate increases.  I believe that this is due to the electrical signals being fired from the brain to send more oxygen.
