IMO, a good church would be one that you feel a connection with and that also teaches the values and principles you yourself also stand for.

I believe that the life we live in the "Here & Now" is all there is for humanity. Of course, it is up to each individual person on whether life is and / or feels like "Heaven OR Hell" right here on earth.

Evidence? WHAT EVIDENCE? The only way to whole heartedly trust in the bible is by FAITH? Without faith, there is no empirical evidence that shows "The Bible", "Christianity" or GOD truly exists.
