I went to high school with a girl who had moved to my town, from Japan the summer before our sophomore year.  Her name was Kimeko. 

I think that the majority of Japanese girl's names are cute.  My pen pal in Japan is Yune, and my friends Japanese exchange student Hanami.  They're both cute.

My mom had a sweet friend named Sumiko .... Everyone called her Sumi.  I always liked the name.
