I don't see how "lol" or " yep" could offend anyone Jan :) and I wouldn't worry about the few it might , but If you must I suggest the words " platypus" and " ticket" because I love those words so very much.
I grew up with three older sisters they would throw their tampons down the toilet clogging up the plumbing. Me and my father would rent out a big electrical snake and clean out the sewer once a month for years so who has it worse???
They don't give birth, or have to deal with a monthly visitor. Not to mention having a chest that is hard to get used to. Yes, it's probably easier.
