It was a dream and a bad one.
Dreams have no meaning outside of the person dreaming them.
It means it is something that concerns you, something that frightens the life out of you,
which is exactly what you would expect from a parent.

Its fine at any age to wear nothing in bed if you feel comfortable that way.
Around the house, it depends on the household, if you have a free and easy family it might be fine, if you don't then it is not recommended.
