It's a really petty sentence, most times you'll just get probation with simple conditions such as; -non association orders -drug and alcohol stipulations -curfew -etc. But, if  you do get jail time it's like less than a month or so.

For getting caught or for like punishment? For punishment I believe it's 1 or 2 years.

Depends. The cops can choose to take their time, depending on your reputation with them lol. Most times you will be released on bail conditions which is essentailly probation, but is only active until the court date.
