Aaron answered 10/11/2007 How Do I Know If A Rotor In A Distributor Is Bad Especially If The Rotor Looks In Great Condition? Use an ohm meter to check for continuity from the center contact to the outer contact. Also look for carbon tracking on the under side of it caused by or causing a misfire.
