The vast majority of movies aren't meant to deliver a message.  They are intended as entertainment only.

The only movies I can think of intending to send a message, are documentaries.

Not necessarily. Some movies are completely pointless, like 50 Shades of Grey. Others, like Pirates of The Caribbean, seem to glorify criminal behavior such as deception, theft, and betrayal.
