When is the dreaded Aidan\Cayden\Brayden\Jayden\Hayden & all baby name trend going to end????

It could be worse. A few years ago in Oz they had a thing about "eens" Gloreen, Doreen, Maureen, Kathleen, Charleen, Darleen, Marleen, Raelene, Raewyn, Shayleen, Nadine etc.etc. Just as well all the blokes are called "Bruce".

I rather have an "een" trend rather than that overused and OBNOXIOUSLY trendy -"ayden" trend. Its so past a trend now, its a full blown epidemic lol. I wouldn't mind the names being common & popular at all if they were decent.
My problems with them is that they are WAY too modern, trendy, and don't age well. Not to mention they sound completely made up. Names with no history or time to them.
Though from what I heard, "jayden" is from the bible (Jadon) but my knowledge if whether that fact is true or false, is unknown.
Hopefully this name trend will decline soon enough. Become less common.

I agree. It is really annoying when everyone seems to have the same names. I didn't think '-ayden's were that popular though...?
