Does getting old freak some of you out? Time goes by fast, I'm 22, seems like I was 13 yesterday.

I just turned 61 today and you're right as I feel like it was only yesterday I was in High School but life is what it is and there really isn't much we can do about it but enjoy the ride and really enjoy your youth as time waits for no one and one day you'll hit your 61st too.  Good luck

I sure wouldn't want to relive the Vietnam war ! Those years in the Green Hell have always scarred me. I'm happy with the age I am now ! That's fer dang sure !

13 to 22 seems like it blew by? Oh boy are you in for a ride! No getting old does not freak me out, at least not yet. I am not really old, but I am not young either. I am a comfortable 53. My husband (he is 56) and I planned well. He retired last year, and I am a housewife, and we never get to retire. We have enough retirement to live comfortably. By comfortably I mean we have a nice house, but not an extravagant one. We lived below our means and saved as much money as possible. We now can travel while we are young enough to enjoy it and can get around. This year we go to Hawaii. Last year was Alaska. In a couple of years we are buying an RV and heading out across the US. As far as I can tell, my age is the best place to be.
