The Notification system has been messed up for some time now. It's on the list of things that need to be fixed. Nothing you can do about it at this time. Don't feel bad as mine is stuck at 561 now.
Why does my Notifications say i have 25 notifications even though i have zero?
It's a badge of honour. Shows you've been answering questions and the software doesn't want to let go.
I'm up to 89 at present (from 64 a week ago) but I'm never gonna catch up to Aux Arcs.
