When I on't like something, i just try to ignore it away. But i did that down voting few times and because truly if i wouldn't do it, i would feel guilty with myself. Because i should've express myself the least somehow. This is how the kind of pressure and discomfort it brought to me at that moment. And yes for every one of them i have reasons and i would explain it if they ask to.
I've done it a couple a times a long time ago but it really doesn't matter or do anything. This was before I was an Admin. And there were about a third of the people on here that are on here now and I didn't like some rude or vulgar answers. People aren't notified about votes anyway, just Thanks. All the votes really do is move the more popular answers to the top of the page. No I didn't tell them but would have had they asked.
No, I haven't. I just ignore their answer.
Nah. What would be the point? If I had something to say about an offensive, I'd SAY it. More likely, I'd ignore it.
I have occasionally voted down a patronising or blatantly incorrect answer. I have never been asked why, so I have never explained. If they did ask, I would happily explain.
No.
If an answer is that out of bounds, I usually comment if I see it.
