It all depends on the person. I have not accepted many friend requests on Facebook even though I know them in person. I limit my friends to family and close friends only. No acquaintances.
Why don't people accept my friend request?
Maybe because they think you're weird? Meeting someone in real life doesn't mean they'll like you.
