National Just Because Day 😊.
I never heard of Pots de Creme, so I'll go with just because. Just because.
Well , the Pots de Creme is a lot like custard and I love custard so I'll go with that one? Why ? Because ! LOL

Had to look them up---
Since I'm retired, I celebrate "just because" day everyday with a daily tribute of some kind.
Pot de creme sounds suspiciously like a desert my mother would make far too infrequently when I was a child---I love "custard." Usually it's either a flan or Creme Brulee for me these days.
National Just Because Day was created by Joseph J. Goodwin of Los Gatos, CA, in the late 1950s. It began as a family holiday and has grown into an annual celebration across the United States.
HOW TO OBSERVE: Do something just because.
Pot de creme is made by combining eggs, egg yolks, cream, milk and typically either vanilla or chocolate flavoring. The mixture is baked in the porcelain cups in a water bath at a low temperature. This delicious French dessert is a loose French custard dating back to the 17th century. Its name means “pot of custard” or “pot of creme” which also refers to the white porcelain cups in which the dessert is traditionally served.
