Do you prefer plays or musicals?

I wish I was more open-minded when it comes to that sort of thing, but I'm not. Both will have me dozing in no time.

Some plays, musicals are 😪.

Musicals. There have been some wonderful plays -- including many great radio plays -- but music stays with you long after the story line has faded.

And, surprisingly, they have very wide appeal. I saw Phantom at the Sydney Opera House and was surprised at how many very young people were there, and obviously enjoying the show.

I've seen a couple of plays over the years but I liked the musicals better. There is a place downtown called The Music Circus where I saw West Side Story and Oklahoma and they were great !
