I'd much rather live life.
Dear Roy Roy,
It might not be either/or...
Black Elk, a medicine keeper of the Lakota Sioux, tells about the definition of STORY as a way of learning about life. So I look for that... I will never be a soldier, for example, but I noted down some war movies that Rooster Cogburn on this site thinks are good, and I will watch those and absorb them.
Movies that are really, really funny (i.e., MOONSTRUCK); those make me stronger for the world, and I cherish them. Or Jane Austen books/movies; timeless experience, set in another time...entertainment and new understanding all at once!

It's a wonderful time to be alive, when you can bring so much of human experience into your own life through stories.
I would like to have a balance of both.
"Life is not a problem to be solved but a gift to enjoy" feeling alive with all these amazing feelings within humans is priceless. So i would enjoy life as much as i can and that does't mean a life with none-problems. Problems are spice of life. They are always there one way or another in every stage of our lives.
But i never stop watching life on TV either. It's entertaining, fun and pleasant. Above all that, it gains my experience, many people can't go anything near understanding this matter. Since i don't just watch movies but "I live the life on TV as well"
Many times in different occasions/situations people asked me "How did you know you should do that" "How did you know what to do" "How did you know how to use that" "I thought you told me never experienced such a thing before ? Then how could you be so calm like it's nothing" ? And many more questions near those.
The answer is i might not experience many titles in my life but i lived them in another life, the life on TV and i have a complete prepared mind about many things in life and improved many skills without touching a thing in person (until it happens suddenly). And i know what to do, how to do and where to go.
So yea! A balance of both is the best for me.
I would have thought that there was only one possible answer to this but then, they get lots of people watching "reality" TV.
I'll live it, thanks.
I'd rather watch life on 📺.
