Rooster has given you the list but here's something to think about. Either Trump or Clinton will win the election; none of the minor candidates will muster enough votes to win. So your choices are to vote for one of them or to throw your vote away.

If you decide to vote for a minor politician or not to vote at all, you have effectively voted for whichever party wins. Why? Because your vote could have counted against them. Abstaining is not a smart alternative. Sometimes you've just gotta suck it up and go with the best of the bad choices.

I have to disagree with throwing the vote away. If everyone who really can't stand Trump or Clinton would actually not vote for either it would be a wake up call to quit giving so much control to the two party system. The reason we don't see third party candidates in debates is because the democratic and republican parties control them. Johnson is polling higher than Perot did. After the debates Perot polled even higher. I am sure the reason why they are not including Johnson is because he does not have a scandal for them to attack him over.

Even though I don't live in the US this election is vitally important to me, as it is to most people in the developed world. Clinton comes across as ineffective and Trump is ill-equipped to be president, quite apart from his personal failings.

This year in Oz we had an election where the major parties both had poor records and manuy more people voted for minor parties than in the past. (Voting is compulsory here.) It didn't turn out particularly well with the government staying pretty much as it had before the election but with the senate now hosting some very strange fish indeed.

I'm not American... but it absolutely terrifies me that Donald Trump could be the next president of the United States . I'm pretty sure someone came back from the future to release those " access Hollywood"  tapes to put an end to this insanity.  You should probably pay attention then... Although if he does become president I'll keep watching SNL cos it's funny again  ... That is until the world explodes :/

I think someone in the democratic party has known about the Access Hollywood tapes for awhile. They held back on them until it got close enough to the election so that the republican party wouldn't be able to pull Trump out of the election. Ballots are already printed up, and some of the vote by mail ballots have been mailed. I hate sounding like a conspiracy nut, but it came out the same time that the WikiLeaks released some damning emails from the democratic party.

@gator ... I just saw your Comment ...yes the access Hollywood tapes were somewhat strategically leaked ... They had planned to leak them the Friday that they did came out ..but then hurricane Mathew was headline news and it was decided to hold of putting the leak out until the Monday after the debate.... " someone on the inside " wanted the tapes out before the debate so they were leaked on Friday..... "Poor" Billy Bush would have been spared his career if they'd waited until Monday though ... Cos NBC negotiated to edit his comments out ... FYI " wiki leaks are as credible as Wikipedia ... Just sayin '

And no you don't sound like a conspiracy nut at all :) I think it was brilliantly played by the Democratic Party .... They could have ... And she is well spoken and intelligent enough to have forced him off the ballot during the last debate with alm the controversy in the 48 hours leading up to it .... They played the republicans by letting them feel he did just good enough to keep him on the ballot , thus ensuring a democratic win ...in my opinion.

Alfred E. Newman. What memories that name brings back. I remember once they printed the covers of the magazine to look like "black and white" composition books. Kids would be reading the mag in class and the teachers thought they had composition books.

@Johnny - Basically because the others don't poll enough to indicate they would make a difference either way. Were there a third party candidate who looked to have a ghost of a chance you would see more of them. Examples from the past -Ross Perot or George Wallace.
