Walk, I just love to walk, either with or without the dog.

I'm with Hippy. I like to walk. Actually, I'd love to go for a long walk with Hippy: I think he'd have some wonderful tales to tell.

Back in the day I went to visit a friend who had gone to live in a small country town. We were walking and talking for some time and soon left the town behind. Eventually I noticed he was getting a bit distressed and asked what was the matter. He said, "Do you know how far we've walked?" Well, I didn't, but we'd gone 5 or 6 miles and that meant it was another 5 or 6 back home. I offered to walk back and get the car but he toughed it out. I was so used to walking it didn't occur to me that somebody would find it so difficult.
